Suspended Fynbos

A floating terrain hovers between botany and memory. Mountain contours rest lightly above a dense undergrowth of fynbos, their roots exposed and impossibly suspended. The work inverts landscape into organism—suggesting that place is not fixed ground but a living structure, held together by fragile systems beneath the surface. It is both ecological meditation and quiet dislocation: a reminder that what appears stable is, in truth, delicately upheld.
